Project Summary
The Montgomery County Engineer is proposing to construct a project called the Lutheran Church Road Bridge Replacement Project, Job #2022-27, in Jefferson Township. The location of the bridge is between two segmented portions of Forney Road. The project involves the complete replacement of the existing metal pipe-arch structure with a new four-sided concrete box culvert. The new box culvert will extend far enough away from the roadway to allow for the elimination of the existing guardrail by providing safety grading.
Lutheran Church Road will be closed during construction. A detour will be established along Mile Road, Diamond Mill Road, and Huffman Road. Construction is anticipated to begin in August 2025 and last approximately three months.
