The Bridge Department is responsible for 511 bridges on the County and Township roadway systems along with any bridge on a State Route with a municipal corporation. A bridge by definition, is any structure having and opening of 10′ or greater. Annual inspections are performed to evaluate the condition and load-bearing capacity of each bridge.
