Project Summary

The Montgomery County Engineer is proposing to construct a project called the 2023 ADA Ramp Improvement Program, which will focus on improving the pedestrian facilities along Lamme Road in Miami Township.

The project consists of replacing and/or installing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps along Lamme Road at the intersections of Rulla Court, Lehigh Place, Terrylynn Avenue, and Owendale Drive.  In addition, an existing deteriorating 4’ wide asphalt sidewalk along the east side of Lamme Road between Owendale Drive & Terryynn Avenue will be replaced with a 5’ wide concrete walk.  Finally, a roughly 400-foot gap in the existing walk along the west side of Lamme Road across from Rulla Court, will be addressed by the installation of a 5’ wide concrete walk.

The project is scheduled to begin construction in March 2024 and be completed in July 2024.
